Just what we were looking for, very nice cabin tucked away in the hills. Equipped with everything you need to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The owners of the cabin are very accommodating and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Hasty Getaway was a great find in our quest for luxury cabins in Newton County. We’ve stayed in many, and this is one of the best. It’s well equipped with most anything you need and is indeed secluded with no through traffic. The owner is...More

We are so thrilled that you chose us; thank you so much for your kind words! We laugh about the deer; they are certainly in the area but we're in the untenable position of maintaining the flowerbeds and encouraging the deer to 'visit!' So far,...More

About the neighbourhood
A Hasty Getaway is in the middle of one of the most beautiful parts of Arkansas, The Natural State.

From the cabin, there are two trails to the Buffalo National River. Amazing trails, waterfalls, and river access points are everywhere and river outfitters who can arrange your float trip down The Buffalo river.

Scenic Highway 7 is a stones-throw away and is one of the Ten Most Beautiful drives in the USA. It's also a great area for motorcycle riding.

There are great restaurants around and interesting shopping experiences as well.

Branson, Music City USA, is only 45 minutes away.

But the woods around the cabin and the way it sits atop a ridge offers you one of the best things to do; absolutely nothing!
Getting around
You will need a car to visit and get around. And a map. GPS is kind of spotty here and cell service can blink out at the worst times!

And bring your hiking boots! Sturdy, comfortable shoes are a must; fancy shoes can stay at home!
