This delightful property offers its guests the perfect setting to experience the 'jewel' which is the small market town of Newton Stewart in the heart of the magnificent Galloway Hills, an which offers breathtaking sights and a wonderful range of activities available to all who visit.

The property itself is host to a peaceful ambience and provides a spectacular view overlooking the Brewery Pool on the river Cree. The Brewery Pool is home to an array of wildlife which includes, salmon, ducks, swans, heron and is often occupied by eager fisherman.

The property is currently being refurbished and has been available to rent from April 2013. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin. There is a box room which houses a small child size single bed. If there are more than 4 adults there is a double bed settee in the lounge...

Highly recommend this lovely cottage if you want to explore this beautiful part of Scotland you must stay here great views great hosts nice touch arriving to find a welcome pack.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. We meet the cleaning lady (Marg ? ) she was lovely,she chatted to us about the area and what was what in the cottage, she couldn't of been more helpful. The beds were comfortable and clean, I...More

Railway: Barrhill: 22.0 km
Ferry: Stranraer: 25.0 km
Travelling North on the M6/M74 take the turn off at Gretna Green and follow the A75.
Travelling South on the M74 take the turn off for Moffat and head for Dumfries where you will pick up the A75 road.
Travel West on the A75 (heading fro Stranraer) until you reach the Newton Stewart roundabout. Take the turning into Newton Stewart and drive straight down the road into the town centre. Sweep round to the right and continue through the town. when you reach the bridge at the bottom of town - DO NOT turn right over the bridge, keep going straight on to King Street. Drive past the police station on the left. Brewery Pool is 200yards further on the right hand side.
