We look forward to greeting our guests upon arrival. If however, we have had to pop out then the keys will be left in the door and we'll see you on our return. All linen, towels and soaps are included as well as numerous kitchen supplies. We provide all our guests with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and rock cakes on arrival as well as flowers.

We understand that when you go away you can never really be sure about how well you're going to sleep which is why we have chosen high quality comfortable orthopaedic mattresses made up with Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels. The bedroom/bathrooms are stocked with plenty of hangers, toilet rolls, cotton wool, flannels, locally hand-made lavender soap and a hair-dryer in each bedroom. Fuel is included and our own spring water is supplied to the cottages (tested annually). As the water is pumped from the header tank it gives great water pressure in the showers of each cottage.

The nearest town, Church Stretton is 4 miles away and is the first town in the West Midlands to receive 'Walkers are Welcome' status. Explore the variety of small independent shops, cafes and pubs. It's not just the stunning scenery which will captivate you but the people and places, history and heritage, the walking and wildlife, food and festivals.

There is a summer shuttle bus touring the Shropshire Hills and surrounding small towns which can be boarded locally.

Railway: Church Stretton: 4.0 km
From Shrewsbury By-Pass
Take the A49 south, signed Leominster. Pass through Bayston Hill and on towards Dorrington. In Dorrington take the first right, signed Picklescott. Continue for 3 miles to Picklescott where the roads bends sharply to the right into the village. In the centre of the village there is a staggered crossroads, turn left here, signposted Betchcott.

Middle Farm is just over 1/2 mile from the crossroads on the left hand side of the road.

From the South
Travelling along the A49 towards Shrewsbury, turn left in Dorrington and follow as above OR turn left into Church Stretton and the traffic lights.
