St Pancras is the lovingly restored old church situated on the beautiful Rousdon Country Estate, near Lyme Regis set amidst 350 acres of parkland. A Grade ll listed building formally the church for the estate.

There are lovely amenity walks for the residents, including access to private beach.

The Church has been restored by the new owners to an exceptionally high standard and is situated in its own grounds overlooking the lake and parkland with glimpses of the sea beyond. The property is very old with wonderful features that have been preserved by Natural England, but please bear in mind that some of these quirky characteristics may make it unsuitable for some people e.g. one stone spiral staircase is narrow and quite steep.

Had a wonderful time here. The photos don’t do it justice. Beautiful building, peaceful & spacious private estate. Comfortable & ideal for a break from busy lives these days. Everything you could want from a quiet break, very convenient for Lyme Regis.

What an amazing place, charming and full of character. the location on the Rousdon estate could not be more perfect. walks to the private beach are a must, but go prepared its a steep walk! St Pancras itself has all you could want with regards...More

The property consists of a traditional entrance porch leading into the large open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen.

The sitting area has a comfortable sofa (not shown), chairs and a log burner (logs supplied). Originally this would have been the knave and altar area.

There are two staircases, one leading to the mezzanine, a double bedroom that has a spectacular reinforced glass balcony overlooking the ground floor.

The Kitchen has fully fitted oak units and is fully equipped with full-size fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc and the old “emu house”, (yes it did hold emus!) houses the washing machine, and is a useful “boot room” for muddy boots, coats etc after long walks in the grounds or fossil hunting on the beach!

Rousdon Estate is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and most of the properties have access to a private beach (via a steep cliff path), the famous landslip, the Undercliffe and the World Heritage Coastline between Lyme Regis (Jurassic Coast), Seaton and Beer.

There are plenty of delightful eating places locally, either informal pubs or more special restaurants.

Lyme Regis has a theatre, cinema, is famous for fossil hunting, has sandy beaches and the area is ideal for walkers, country and bird lovers.

Sporting amenities include sea fishing, lakes for trout and course fishing, sailing, golf, riding stables, bowls and games for children.
