About the neighbourhood
St. Mabyn is well placed to explore miles of remote untamed moorland and windswept rocky tors – just 10 minutes from the two highest peaks in Cornwall, Roughtor and Brown Willy. The slopes of Roughtor house an important Bronze Age settlement and is the site of a Bronze Age village in the area. Within 3 miles there are a handful of really good food pubs incl. St Kew Inn, St Tudy Inn and best of all the newly refurbished St Mabyn Inn is receiving great reviews for their food and fabulous welcoming atmosphere. It's about 200 metres from the cottage. Surfing at Polzeath, wind surfing or children's swimming at Daymer Bay, sailing and waterskiing at Rock, cycling the Camel Trail or walking the coas...
