We spent a lovely weekend in this gorgeous cottage in Carlingford. Perfectly located for exploring all that Carlingford has to offer. The house was so cozy and warm and everything (including fire logs) that we needed was supplied with house. Highly recommend.

A beautifully kept cottage that's immaculately clean and my family will return. The village can get boisterous at weekends but this family cottage is the perfect haven.

About the neighbourhood
Carlingford is a historic medieval village that has a host of wonderful restaurants and bars. On the Tain trail which means you only have to walk outside the door to get access to the mountain walks of the area. For a more leisurely stroll or cycle, there is the Greenway to Omeath, which runs alongside the lough.
Getting around
There is a public bus route from Dundalk and Newry, but a car is advised. Take advantage of the new Ferry crossing -Scenic Carlingford ferry to Greencastle and visit the Mourne Mountains.
