Electricity is pre-paid, so do turn off the air conditioner/heater when not in the apartment.
For monthly bookings, only R300 electricity will be loaded, which works out to about 160kW - one person uses about 100kW a month. Additional top ups will be for the guest's account.
Extra towels are supplied - feel free to grab a fresh one every 7 days. Cape Town is experiencing a drought, so less laundry = less water usage.
Note: the only foodstuff supplied are salt, pepper, oil, coffee and teas.

My flat is located in the leafy, inner-city suburb of Gardens - just around the corner from Gardens Shopping Centre. This mini-mall includes everything a traveller needs, from boutique style offerings to essential services, like a drop-off laundromat. It is also along a MyCiti bus route, giving easy access to the rest of the city.
Only an 8min drive and 20min walk to popular Government Lane, the historic Parliament Buildings and the Cape Town city centre with its myriad of restaurants, sidewalk cafes, museums, galleries and entertainment.

The Gardens MyCiti bus stop is just two roads down from the Upper East Side apartment block - you'll need to purchase a bus card from any bus station. There is also Uber, which is a safe, comfortable and affordable option.For independent travellers, you can also hire a car through Rent My Ride. Park it (or your own ride) in the dedicated parking bay in the building.
