Interaction with guests: Our lovely housekeeper, do live on the property. Eunice will be on duty during your stay to look after the villa, maintain the villa and assist with your day to day house keeping. Her normal working hours is Monday to Friday 9-3pm & Saturdays during check in/out. Do feel free to ask Eunice for her babysitting service (cost directly payable to Eunice). Mrs. Jackie McEwan is the general supervisor. Should you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to ask Mrs McEwan whom live right next door.
Excellent villa to stay and explore the area. The villa is a very special place to stay, very close to the beach, literally a few metres away, the Villa is stocked with all the amenities you will need, a fabulous veranda overlooking the bay, fantastic kitchen dining area and lounge is open plan on the first floor and is very spacious, the master bedroom is on the same floor with a dressing area, bath and shower en-suite. The ground floor has another kitchen area three further bedrooms and bathrooms and a patio area with barbecue and small pool. On the third floor there is seating to sit and watch the sun go down with a glass of local wine, the scenery across the bay from here is fabulous. There is a garage to park your vehicle, lovely gardens and to top it all a housekeeper, Eunice who will help with anything you need, she was a very special addition, a lovely lady. In all a very special stay for us and lots to do in Plettenberg, the local supermarket is a five minute drive or ten minute walk, definitely recommend this for families as so much space to spread out and relax or explore the many attractions nearby.

Indulge yourself in luxury, peace and beautiful nature.
This is probably one of the most beautiful houses we've stayed in. All you can wish for that perfect holiday! The house is situated right on the lagoon and has all the luxery to stay in absolute comfort. Well equipped kitchen, large livings, many bedrooms, pool and great BBQ facilities. The cozy upper deck is the perfect place for your early morning coffee or sundowner. And of course not to forget, the always helpful and friendly staff and owners! Simply South Africa at its best.

Beautiful Villa with Wonderful Sea Views
We had the most wonderful Christmas family holiday at Villa Rosso.
If you want to wake up to the sound of waves lapping nearby and a mesmerising amber sunrise then Villa Rosso is it! Great location on the pristine Keurbooms Lagoon with it's clear and blue sea water. Walking distance to amenities. Beautiful luxurious appointed Villa with a stunning pool and amazing sea views. A very special mention must go to Eunice who is the best housekeeper and looked after us splendidly and kept the Villa pristine at all times. We'll definitely be back!

Holiday to remember!
Had a fantastic stay with the family, the villa is perfect located with very easy access to the lagoon and beach. Spacious room with great living spaces made it the ideal luxury holiday house. The house had everything we need and more. We would definitely return, highly recommend!

Location Location Location! Unbelievable
We had such an amazing time staying at this villa. You wont find a better location in Plettenberg Bay. Spacious bedrooms and balconies with unbelievable views. The hospitality of Eunice was wonderful. We will most definitely be back.

Absolute bliss!
Take me back! What a lovely, luxurious villa to forget about traffic. Here I could unwind, have lazy cappuccinos on the deck, sunbathing, with birds and the sound of waves crashing. You can literally walk over the lawn and a few meters away, you step into the sand with the lagoon infront of you. There are ample ways to enjoy either the lagoon or beach, and still leisurely walk back to your own pool. Sundowners on the deck or beach is a must with the most beautiful sunsets. This house has all the best appliances you can think of and a kitchen downstairs, close to the pool, as well as one upstairs, close to the deck. There are an array of rooms downstairs, all opening up to the pool area. A covered outside braai,is just the thing for balmy evenings, with a quick dip in the pool. Above the patio, you will find another deck, with a bird's eye view over the sea, lagoon and mountains.

An amazing festive period spent in the picturesque 'Villa Rosso'.
Stayed at the Villa from the 28th of December 2019 until the 11th of January 2020. I enjoyed a wonderfully warm festive period, with a picturesque view of Plettenberg Bay's gorgeous lagoon.
As well as being a stone-throw away from the town centre, we were also less than a 2 minute walk from the sea. Nothing beats watching the sunrise with a coffee in-hand on the rooftop terrace, as well as enjoying a lovely 'braai' (barbecue) on the patio.
Eunice, the resident housekeeper, is extremely welcoming, helpful and kind.
There is so many lovely things to do, for example we went hiking on Robberg peninsula which had the most amazing views of the whole bay. Also enjoyed the amazing Bramon Wine Estate for great 'Tapas' style food whilst seated amongst the grape vines.
10/10 would highly recommend Villa Rosso without a doubt. Plettenberg Bay has their slogan of "Plett is a feeling" and they're certainly not wrong!

Wonderfully relaxing
We have just had the most incredible four day stay with our 2 young children. The villa is just beautiful. It’s spotlessly clean and Eunice the housekeeper is a treasure. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee on the top deck looking out over the lagoon and one day we even watched a seal hunting! The villa is conveniently located close to all the restaurants, shops and beaches of Plettenberg Bay as well as the attractions of the Garden Route, slightly further afield. After a busy school term it was so lovely to spend quality time as a family in this beautiful home. We felt we could relax in it as if it were our own home. We would highly recommend Villa Rosso! Many thanks for the wonderfully relaxing stay. The Fox Family.

Alles erop en eraan, keurig netjes en volop ruimte voor 7 personen.
Prima hulp in de huishouding.
Een echte aanrader als je in Plettenberg Bay wilt verblijven.

Exceptionnel
Maison magnifique, spacieuse, très bien équipée et décorée avec goût, idéalement située (front de mer à quelques mètres, centre commercial à proximité et centre -ville)
2 magnifiques terrasses avec points de vue sur l'estuaire de la rivière Keurbooms et la baie de Plettemberg.
Piscine, BBQ, table de ping pong sont là pour agrémenter votre séjour.
Mais n'oublions pas Eunice, sympathique, disponible, efficace et très discrète qui assure l'entretien de la villa la journée et qui loge dans une dépendance.
Séjour inoubliable... En famille ou entre amis, n'hésitez pas : c'est ici !

Options are ample. Within 10 mile radius you can find, Dolphin Safaris, Bungy Jumping, coastal fishing, diving, Golf courses, hiking trails, horse riding, fishing, Polo, Quad Biking, Water park, surfing, swimming, sailing, game drives, kayaking, mountain biking, paragliding ree canopy tours, 4x4 trails & trips.
In the town of Oudtshoorn, an hour and 30min drive, you can visit the famous Ostrich farms, Cango Caves and various wild life parks. Knysna village is a lovely location to sit at the marine and enjoy local seafood and watch the yachts enter through the famous Heads.
Getting around
As a holiday maker, I do recommend you have a car. For the more energetic, you can walk to town (up hill) that will take you +/- 20min, and to the super market is a 15min walk. We have access to local tour guide companies that will happily assist with half and full day guided/private tours to local tourist attractions in and around Plett, Knysna, George, Oudtshoorn and Tsitsikama. Plettenberg Bay do have reliable taxi/ transfer companies too. We will gladly provide you with the relevant information upon request.

An international flight can take you into Cape Town or Johannesburg with a short domestic flight to George Airport. From George, you can take a scenic route along the coast that will take you via Knysna to Plettenberg Bay.The journey should not take you longer than an hour.
