About the neighbourhood
The lake is stocked for fishing and is perfect for canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Hyatt Lake is a 'quiet lake' so only trolling motors are allowed. Please note: A fishing license is required and can be purchased at Bi-Mart, thirty-five minutes away, on the north end of Ashland. There are several other lakes for recreation nearby including Little Hyatt Lake (just five minutes away), Howard Prairie Lake (just ten minutes away), as well as Emigrant Lake and Lake of the Woods (both just thirty minutes away). Hiking and mountain biking trails abound as we are surrounded by The Cascade Siskiyou National Monument and land managed by the Bureau of Reclamation and Bureau of Land Management.
