When you are going out from the holiday rental and walk to the left for about 5 minutes you get the famous Tabuan Jaya commercial which comprises a bank, supermarkets, KFC, PIZZA HUT, dozens typical coffee shops which sell delicacies like chicken rice, Sarawak lasak, kolo mee, satay, cold storage,  pharmacy, etc. 

Population in Sarawak is about 2.6 millions. Kuching alone has about eight hundred thousand peoples.  In the vicinity of  city , it consists of three major races.  They are Chinese, Malay and Dayak who live harmoniously together.
