Fenn Hall

Holiday Rental House -
3 Bedrooms , 3 Bathrooms , Sleeps 8
Kottayam, Kottayam District, Kerala
FennHall is a Kerala Tourist department certified Gold House right in the heart of Kottayam town. Three bath attached bedrooms are available in this villa for rental. These rooms can be taken either individually or the 2400sqft Fenn Hall villa can be taken as a whole. 70yrs of love and laughter echoes the walls of this colonial style house which has been the home of our family since my grandfather built it in 1943. Built in the typical colonial-syrian christian architecture, its high roof and number of windows are well planned to allow plenty of light and air. The furniture is either solid teak or rosewood and there are plenty of knick knacks around each piece with its own history. Along with the traditional interiors, you can also taste a traditional Kerala breakfast of Puttu and kadala made in a bamboo stem. Close to Kumarakom bac... Read more

It was a surprise to find such a place right at the centre of a busy town of Kottayam. The soothening feel of home it gives makes it specially refreshing for a traveller who wants to withdraw from the crowded tourist spots

A great host, makes you feel at home right away. The house itself full of local history, with somewhat colonial ambience to it.
