Condo/Apartment
This bright and spacious 3 room apartment is located in a charming modernist building from the '20s newly repainted, iconic for the architectural landscape of interwar Bucharest. From its generous top floor balconies (1 balcony for each of the 2 bedrooms) the panoramic view is magnificent, including The Art Museum (former Royal Palace), Calea Victoriei, Cismigiu Park, Sala Palatului (biggest & most important concert hall in Bucharest). While being in the heart of the city, the rooms are rather quiet as the building is on an access alley to Cismigiu Park. Perfect for couples, families, solo wanderers, artists. The main bedroom is large (18 square meters), cozy, with lots of natural light and freshly painted walls. While being in the heart of the city, the rooms are rather quiet as the building is on an access alley to Cismigiu Park. Perfect for couples, families, solo wanderers, artists. The main bedroom is large (18 square meters), cozy, with lots of natural light and freshly painted walls. It's the special room in the house as it's a 5 walls one from which you have direct & private access to an open and large corner balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee and your night cap wine while admiring the sunset over the main city landmarks. You can as well work on your computer on the balcony as there's a plug next to the sitting table. The mirror ball, when/if lit, ensures a holiday vibe. This bedroom has direct & private access to the bathroom and is separated from the second bedroom in the house by the living room (common space) and a hall-way that ensures the access to the kitchen The living room is a large and bright room with a table accommodating dinner for six and is equipped with a sofa bed that can accommodate 2 persons when extended. The third bedroom in the house is smaller and separated by the other two rooms in the house by a hallway. It has its own charming private balcony with view over Cismigiu Park, therefore is also quiet with the advantage of being close to the kitchen. The kitchen is newly redecorated and fully equipped (stove, oven, fridge, microwaves, boiling pot, toaster, silverware, dishes, cooking pots, cups, glasses, etc). It's the perfect setting for holidays as it's one of the most desirable neighbourhoods in Bucharest, right next to venues hosting events like the Bucharest International Jazz Festival, George Enescu International Festival, etc. It's literally surrounded by restaurants, bars, clubs, touristic attractions and typical architectural landmarks (a generous sample of it can be admired from the confort of your private balcony) while being almost in the park and taking advantage of the quiet & fresh air. It's also a good fit for business trips as it's equipped with a working desk, chair(s) and access to multiple plugs.More

About the neighbourhood
Our neighbourhood is one of the oldest in the city and probably the friendliest in Bucharest. It's unique also due to its eclectic architecture and the fact that it's in the middle of everything while neighbouring the park (rather rare in Bucharest). Within a 5 min walking distance from all venues in George Enescu International Festival. Where there are many examples of Bucharest’s cultural and architectural splendour, the highlights surrounding our flat include the Romanian Athenaeum, an elaborately domed circular building and a concert hall (5 min walk), Bucharest University and the National History Museum (7 min walk). We are located in the downtown area which includes the most important (artistic, cultural, entertainment, shopping) obje
Getting around
Besides being within walking distance from anything in the center (nothing is further than a 10 min walk), the apartment is 3 min away from the bus station and 7 min away from the subway (Universitate) all of which include direct connections to: - the airport (50 min by 783 bus, 25 min by taxi at the price of less than 10 euros), - the train station - Gara de Nord (15 min by bus, 5 min by taxi, at about 3 euros a ride) - all neighborhoods surrounding the city center
