Within easy walking distance there are many cafes, restaurants and bars, as well as the Millennium Art Gallery and the Taylor River Reserve. Slightly further away is the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, with its world renown collection of WW1 aircraft and vintage/classic cars.
