We totally respect our guests right to privacy. With the studio being in the rear of our property with its own access you can have total privacy or you can interact with us as need be.
We like to meet our guests on arrival so we know who is here as our home is at the front of the same property. From then we will leave you alone unless you want to chat, know something or have any special requests.
My wife and I are both born and bred New Zealanders that have lived in Devonport for 35 years so we have an intimate knowledge of our suburb as well as the rest of our beautiful country and are here to help should it be needed.

About the neighbourhood
We are beside the Vauxhall Shops which is a very small shopping and eating area. We are directly opposite Vauxhall Cafe and Cheltenham Dairy and Milk Bar. On this side, a few doors away is a fish and chip shop as well as Chateaubriant, a French Cafe.
There is also a hairdresser, a design store,a small gift shop and an antique shop.
Cheltenham Beach is less than 2 minutes away and is suitable for swimming and other water activities. There is a croquet club less than 2 minutes walk away and the 18 hole Waitemata Golf Course is less than 4 minutes walk away.
There are many walks you can take from here around the various beaches, the volcanic cones, the village, etc, etc.

Our physical address is 81 Vauxhall Road.
We are directly opposite the bus route that connects to Devonport Village and also the ferry to the Central City. This is less than a 5 minutes trip
For guests that arrive at Auckland International Airport we are approximately one hour or more away by car or taxi (depending on traffic and time of day). For those arriving by car we have free parking outside our property.
We are also easily accessible on the public transport system from Auckland International Airport to our property. You take a direct bus to the Downtown Ferry Terminal and then the ferry to Devonport. We generally pick guests up when they arrive at the Devonport Ferry Terminal and bring them here.
