This apartment doesn't have aircon, but it is really well protected, and doesn't seem to need it. Opening windows allow a cross breeze through the rooms. Heating is more than adequate. CBD Little Paris is located amongst some of the best shopping, restaurants, cafes and bars in Australia. The tram stops are just 100m away. You can enjoy a walk to some of the best-known sporting venues, markets and arts venues in the country. Everyday shops, services, banks & ATMS and all your everyday needs are catered for nearby. The property address is 237 Flinders Lane, Melbourne, VIC 3000. Your swish Melbourne boutique, serviced apartment includes very modern, high quality furnishings and appliances, linen, towels, and kitchen. Opening windows allow fresh air through all rooms when you want it. Car parking is available nearby for a small fee. Monthly rates are as little as about $11/day. Feeling at home
We had a wonderful stay at Little Paris. We were here for work and it was really easy to go around as the trams and Flinders Street Station are very close by. The area is very pleasant with all the coffeshops and restaurants and we enjoyed to be able to walk to the theatres or to the parks along the Yarra River. The apartment is very well eqquiped and comfortable. It was a bit dark because of the buildings around and sometimes a bit noisy outside as there is a worksite nearby but it is temporary. I deeply recommand this place in Melbourne ! And thank you to Chris and all the StayCentral team who were helping a lot with the booking .

Feel at Home in the Centre of Melbourne.
For those that value their independence and like a bit of space, you will feel at home instantly in this comfortable property. Comfortable beds and bedding, pleasant decor with some clever design features, space to move, heating, kitchen and bathroom more than adequate. The smaller bedroom was roomier than I expected. Location is the outstanding feature, just a few steps away from everything. And just next door to a cosy and very popular creperie for that feeling that you might just be in Paris.

Visiting from interstate we found the location of this apartment to be excellent, close to all transport, cafes, restaurants and attractions. The apartment is excellent, plenty of room, comfortable beds, kitchen has everything you need. We would highly recommend this apartment and will look at staying again.

Delightful apartment in the heart of the CBD
We had a lovely time in Melbourne staying at Little Paris in Flinders Lane. Very conveniently located near Melbourne institutions such as Brunetti's and the laneway dining precinct. The apartment was cosy, yet had ample room for the two of us and was very clean and quiet. The service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Just Perfect!
My Husband, Daughter and I stayed at “Stay Central” for the weekend of the Grand Prix. And it was Just Perfect! Although we were really just sleeping there with our big days at the race, there was everything you needed to feel comfortable. Right in the middle of the CBD with walking distance to amazing restaurants,museums,great shopping and just the vibe of Melbourne. Chris and his team were amazing to communicate with So we three would highly recommend staying here.

Great location, excellent service
We needed somewhere to stay for four weeks while our new home settled and thought a CBD experience in our home city would be fun. It was! Seeing Melbourne from a visitor's perspective was great and Flinders Lane is amazingly central. A little bit noisy, but to be expected in the heart of a large city. Easy access to everything we needed. Chris, the Manager, could not have been more helpful. Every request was attended to immediately. Highly recommend if you are interested in a true city experience in Melbourne.

A beautiful apartment that really lives up to its name
We had a wonderful 4-night stay in the LIttle Paris apartment in Fitzroy Lane. The property really lives up to its name. It reminded us of apartments we've rented in Paris over the years - elegant, comfortable, stylish and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The location is perfect, close to several of Melbourne's famous lanes, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, a short stroll to the National Gallery and Federation Square, with public transport close by. Despite the busy street life outside, we found the apartment to be quiet and peaceful. Check-in arrangements were smooth and efficient, our greeter was punctual and well-informed about the property, and the service from StayCentral was exemplary. We'll be back.

Great Place
We were on a 3 month trip of Australia and New Zealand. We stayed at 12 places for between 3-7 nights. This was our favorite place to stay. Fortunately for us we were in self seclusion here for 7 nights after flying in from New Zealand. It was a great place to stay. Plenty of room with 2 bedrooms (which we didn't need), good size kitchen with working appliances, plenty of storage, actual utensils, plates and silverware that is for grownups (not your typical Ikea or Target plastic utensils). Location is close to everything in the CBD. We walked everywhere. Resturants and pubs close by. Benevente Services meet you at "Little Paris" and were on time and thorough in showing us what we needed to know. We would definitely return here for a visit.

Beware dust-allergerns & Entomophobics!
Whilst we adored the apartment and were generally happy with it. Great location, cute and cosy little space, great kitchen amenities… However, there were a few things that were a little disappointing: - Prior to our arrival, we booked through Wotif and it was not made clear that there was a $600 deposit to be made prior to arrival (which we’ve not even had to pay that much before even at a 5-star hotel). Staff were extremely rude and threatening that we weren’t allowed to stay if this wasn’t paid but it was the first that we were hearing of it. - Upon check-in, the phone number we were meant to call was not available, so we had to call up the head office who then put us in touch with our greeter, who was then making us wait around for a good half an hour (we forgive this as the traffic was terrible that day). However, found it a bit unprofessional that they were training a greeter whilst checking us in and so it was quite a lengthy and long-winded process after our travel. We received a courtesy email to check-up on our stay. We were not rude, but just wanted to raise a few issues: - Overall, the apartment itself appeared clean and tidy. However, there were a few things that have been brought to our attention that would make the stay much better, not just for us but for future guests. A major one was the filthy windows that hadn’t been cleaned in ages and the floors not having a proper vacuum/mop. (There was heaps of construction outside which was fair enough for the outside of the windows, but not the inside). - There was a disgustingly large number of dead cockroaches (and live scattering) all around the apartment which should’ve been cleaned before we arrived. It was also pretty clear that there was an infestation and the apartment needed to be professionally exterminated not just filled with Mortein bait everywhere. - It was advertised that there would be complimentary amenities, but there really was not a lot considering we were there for the week. 4 coffee pods, 3 toilet rolls & 3 dishwashing tablets between 3 people for a week is a pretty minuscule amount. (We were told that it said in the description that if guests wish to use more, we were to purchase our own, which is understandable but like we said… A miniscule amount). However, instead of a “sorry, we will attend to this”, we received a rather lengthy and passive-aggressive email explaining all of these issues. There was no “sorry, we will send someone up to clean the apartment immediately”, rather instead it was “sorry but here is a list of excuses”. Upon following up with emails back and forth, the manager offered us a complimentary “10% returning member discount” (How generous!) and got extremely rude and sarcastic with us. Overall, it was just extremely disappointing and not a great stay for us because of our allergies to dust… (also appreciated the spider bite I got on my leg) and honestly a cockroach infested apartment should be dealt with before it is made available to the public.

Thanks for your feedback, and I agree with you on some points. We get a lot of complaints from guests who book through Wotif. The problem is that we have no arrangement with Wotif to market our properties, and the information they display is not correct or approved by StayCentral. They just take some information from Expedia, and usually don't get it completely right. We make it clear on all sites that "welcome supplies only" are provided, but this is not shown on Wotif. Having said that, it is very clear on Wotif that we require a $600 security deposit. Don't take my word for it; you can read it on their site. This is quite normal for self-contained apartments in Melbourne. Nobody was rude or threatening to you at any time. Why would we need to do that? We simply pointed out that the deposit needed to be paid prior to arrival. The Greeter was not a trainee. He was actually one of the supervisors of that company. I am sorry that you could not contact him straight away. Sometimes this happens. You failed to mention though that we gave you a free early check-in more than three hours ahead of the normal check-in time, and still got in more than two hours ahead of time. We always try to give free early check-ins whenever possible; and late check-outs. Yes, I replied to you about the windows and the cockroaches. Unfortunately, these can appear at any time in Melbourne and Sydney properties, and the baits were doing their job. I agreed with you in our emails that some dead ones would have appeared in the six days between when the apartment was last cleaned and when you arrived, and that we should have swept these up before you arrived. Our mistake. There is construction in the area, so yes, the windows were very dusty on the outside, but the cleaners should have cleaned them better on the inside. Our mistake. If you had advised us about this, I would have sent the cleaners back the same day. I'm sorry that you had to put up with the unclear views. I get no joy from my guests not enjoying their stay with StayCentral. Sometimes things don't work out as well as they should, and we do whatever we can to fix this, or make it up to the guests. Up until this point we have only had 5/5 reviews on Wotif and elsewhere. I do hope that we see you again, with your returning-guest discount. Not little Paris - Big Horrors!
Avoid at all costs - noisey neighbours, station and street works going the whole time right through the middle of the night. Kango hammers etc; There is no peace here. I rang the apartment manager to be told I should have rung the police on the neighbors- really that’s not a guests job! They had a party on the first night we were there and the night beforer we left there was a huge argument that was very threatening and scary as the apartments share a small narrow corridor. Apparently the disruptive neighbours here are a known problem. We were encouraged to stay here by the booking office - under false pretences I think. Just to make it worse we discovered a huge dead cockroach in the bathroom.

I made an extensive reply to this review months ago, but it disappeared soon after. TripAdvisor were going to look into this and get it back, but I just discovered the response never re-appeared. We try to be very transparent with our information, and we stated on the site that rates were discounted due to possible inconveniences due to nearby demolition and construction work. Most of our guests have enjoyed a peaceful stay at a discount, but you clearly came at a time that a lot of work was going on. I'm sorry you had issues, but unfortunately, you have been in the minority. Luckily all the demolition work has ended now, and most of the construction work is now deep in the ground. We had previous complaints about the neighbour almost two years ago, and that situation had been dealt with at the time. Unfortunately they chose your stay dates to have another argument. I wish we could control arguments with our neighbours, but anyone can be subject to this, in any location; even in expensive hotels! We can't be there 24 hours a day, and we advise in our Guest Information Folder to call the police if there are big disturbances from neighbours. If you were able to call our office in the middle of the night, this is all we could have done. It just allows people to hopefully get a quick solution to their problem. I'm sorry you had a poor experience with us. you can see from our great reviews that this is not normal for our guests, and is rare. Just north of QV1 is the Queen Victoria Markets where you can buy just about anything from groceries and meat to clothing and jewellery.
Getting around
The trams in the Melbourne CBD are brilliant. From CBD Little Paris, trams are only 90 metres away on Swanston St or down Degraves St on Flinders Lane. You can cross the road to Flinders St Station as well; if you want to go a bit further.

How to get there
It's easy to get to CBD Little Paris. From the airport, you can just take a taxi, or you can hop on the Skybus to Southern Cross Station. From there, it's a short walk and a free tram ride up Collins St to Swanston St, and Little Paris is just around the corner. Full directions & instructions on how to access your apartment will be provided once your booking is confirmed with StayCentral. Also, if you only travel on the trams within the city grid, it's free, and you don't need a Myki card. Very early and late arrivals require the following fees to have someone there at these times: 6:00am - 9:30am & 6:00pm - 9:00pm will be charged at $25.00; 9:00pm - 6am will be charged at $60.00 Very early check-in can only be secured well in advance by either booking the night before, or by paying an extra half-day rate; depending on the time of arrival.
