Hobart, Greater Hobart, Tasmania
The Old Bishop’s Quarters in Hobart is a truly unusual place to stay, providing memorable experiences for all that visit. Stay in one of Australia’s oldest Heritage listed houses, a place with a rich and interesting history as the residence of every Anglican Bishop of Tasmania from 1869 to 2004.

The School House apartment is self-contained and incorporates a lounge room and main bedroom with a vaulted ceiling in the original school room; via a small glazed link, this leads to a separate kitchenette/dining space with bathroom and a cosy second bedroom with two bunk beds or a double on request. It is fully wheel chair accessible.

Extra roll-away beds can be provided on request.

About the neighbourhood
Central in easy walking distance to many good restaurants, Salamanca and other attractions in Hobart Tasmania.

This focal point of 19th century Hobart was built in the 1830s and is set in about an acre of gardens on one of Hobart's most attractive tree-lined streets on the edge of Battery Point - just at the end of our street. And unlike Battery Point/other central areas, we have free parking outside!
