Woodlands Cottage is a beautiful detached bungalow, next to the owner's home set beside woodlands, in the village of South Clifton, between Lincoln and Newark. With one double bedroom, one twin bedroom plus an additional sofa bed in the lounge area, it sleeps five. There is also a bathroom with a walk in shower, a fitted kitchen, sitting room and dining area. The property has underfloor heating and a combi boiler. Outside there is plenty of off road parking and also a lovely, large garden with a patio area. Woolands Cottage is THE SAME PRICE ALL YEAR ROUND. It benefits from open countryside surrounding it with Lincoln / Newark only 15 mins away.

Lovely place to stay clean and spacious with everything you need. The owner was friendly and helpful. The surrounding area was quiet and picturesque. A short drive away are interesting attractions like Lincoln Castle and it's beautiful Cathedral. We will definitely be wanting to stay...More

This was our second visit and we had a great time. We had a lovely family get together. The open plan living area is just great for three generations to catch up and share lunch. Plenty of comfortable seating and warm and cosy. Spotlessly clean....More

South Clifton is a quiet village in the countryside. There are shops and pubs, an excellent Fish and Chip shop and Chinese restaurant in the nearby (6 miles) village of Collingham. Lincoln Cathedral and Castle quarters are a 20min drive. Lincoln Christmas market is held on the 1st weekend of December. Lincoln Showground is a 20min drive. Newark Showground is a 15min drive. Largest Antiques fair in Europe held every three months at Newark Showground. Newark Market town and Castle are a 20min drive. Sundown Adventureland for children is a 15min drive. Rand Farm Park is a 20min drive. There are numerous fishing lakes and the River Trent in the vicinity. Golf Courses at Torksey, Laughterton, Canwick, Carholme, Thorpe on the Hill.

How to get there
South Clifton is located off the A1133. Accessed from A57 from Sheffield or the A46 from Newark Showground. Taking the North entrance to the village on Moor Lane, drive past the village hall and row of houses on the right. After the row of houses, there are two brick piers, signposted Woodlands Homes. Drive up the long drive to the woods, and the property is on the right.
