The Red House is ideal for 2 families or a small group looking for great value for money accommodation in a delightfully warm and relaxing setting. Deep rustic red colour scheme, solid natural pine floors, solid oak furniture, exposed beams and rustic brickwork throughout.
Downstairs there is a modern and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a washing machine leading to an open plan living/dining area with a wood-burner, large antique oak table and a Catalan style cushioned sofa bench. There is also a handy cloakroom with wash basin and separate toilet. On the 1st floor there are 2 double bedrooms. One is en-suite with a 140cm bed the other has a larger 160cm bed. There is a family bathroom comprising bath/shower, wash basin and toilet. The 2nd floor is an attic bedroom with 4 single (90cm) beds under the original beams....

Gill and Tim are very friendly people and were very helpful in advice on where to go and how to get there.They were very patient and understanding as we were celebrating a 40th and 60th party,so you can imagine the noise..great stay and very comfortable...More

Surrounded by vineyards, St. Laurent de la Salanque is situated 15 minutes’ drive from Perpignan (the home of French Rugby). The village has a large traditional Catalan market twice a week and is linked to several Mediterranean beaches and neighbouring villages by a network of cycle paths. The village has an abundance of artisan bakers, wine merchants, supermarkets, restaurants and bars.
Spain, Andorra and many wine producing valleys are within easy reach by car, while the regional mountains, rivers, lakes and coastline play host to a full range of outdoor activities.
The villages and surrounding areas, hold local festivals throughout the year celebrating the area’s rich history, unique culture and mouth-watering cuisine and superb wines.

We have had guests arrive by train even from Edinburgh. A lovely way to relax and view the scenery.
