We stayed as an extended family of five adults and two dogs for a week over Easter. The house and grounds are exactly as shown in the images; the main lounge-diner is very spacious with enough comfy seats for everyone. We booked through Sykes Cottages. The directions were clear and led us straight to the house.
Andy welcomed us on arrival, with the gate at the end of the track open ready for us. Inside were treats of cake and wine, plus a kitchen with fully stocked staples such as sauces, eggs, milk, rice and pasta. Everything we needed was ready in the house for us. The open fire is a lovely feature.
The grounds are large and very pretty; the dogs loved the space to stretch their legs (and have a swim in the pond!). We saw lots of wildlife, including pheasants and deer. Sadly the rain and subsequent mud limited our use of the garden, but we'd love to come back in sunnier weather to make the most of the garden.
The location is great for exploring Norfolk...
