The Boathouse Cottage, a standalone house tucked into a sheltered spot overlooking the River Tweed, makes a peaceful base for couples or families. Walk straight onto footpaths going up or down river or cross country. Many opportunities to view wildlife including otters. Norham is a great village with pubs and shops, ten to fifteen minutes walk away.
Northumberland and Scottish Border coasts, beaches and cliff-top walks are all within easy reach. For hill walkers the choice is amazing and includes the Cheviot National Park. Bird and wildlife lovers are spoilt for choice with Farne Islands, St Abb's Head and much more. And, of course, there are plenty of visitor attractions in the area for the whole family.

Quaint cottage in peaceful location close to the river. Lovely place to unwind. Close to attractions such as the chain bridge honey farm.

We booked the cottage to be near family, over the new year, who live in the village. The cottage was so welcoming, with all needs met. Kitchen was great to use and we managed to seat 12 for a new year meal! Our dog loved...More
