Gorgeous home in tropical setting, private pool, walled and gated for your privacy. The home has 2 bedrooms, each with their own bath, and a 1/2 bath on the first floor.
This home is located in Lo de Marcos, a quaint, friendly, authentic Mexican village located just 45 min from Puerto Vallarta airport, and 15 min from the tourist town of Sayulita. Lo de Marcos is truly an (almost) undiscovered gem of a town with unspoiled beach, plus boasts excellent restaurants, basic grocery shopping, plus several gift shops to find that cool artifact to bring home!
The pool is listed as unheated, but solar heating was just installed - the pool cleaner gentleman can show you how to turn it on and off, and he speaks English.

everything all together acceptable. The pool /patio area needs some comfortable padded furniture, as does the rooftop area- which has nothing at all. Perhaps you should invest in a proper solar heating unit for the pool and repair the pumphouse wiring and pumpsMore

Airport pickup available for a fee. $60.00 ( plus a very good tip if the driver (whom is the caretaker) stops at a major grocery store for you to do grocery shopping prior to your arrival at the house).
Bottled purified water will be provided at no cost to you; again a tip might be nice for the delivery.
The caretaker (and builder of the house), will check in with you to see that your needs are met, and if you have any questions.
Local telephone numbers of a friend there will be given to you in case of further questions, or computer questions.
Wifi is included, simply plug in the router, the password is the WEP number on the bottom of the modem.
There is an extensive DVD library, plus many paperback books to choose from. Washing machine is included with clothes line, dryer is available for a fee (to offset the cost of propane).

About the neighbourhood
This home is located in the coastal town of Lo de Marcos - less than one hours drive from Puerto Vallarta.
We do not have the high-rise hotels here in Lo de Marcos. There are mostly bungalows, several rv parks, and a number of homes Americans and Canadians have had built. These homes are located in all parts of the town, we are truly part of the Mexican community. There is an organization called Amigos de Lo de Marcos that has a number of committees to contribute to the well being of the town - from the health center committee, recycle, senior center, schools, animal protection, and even a composting area.
