Great retreat for couples, business travellers, & especially families. The cottage is well located, great for outdoor pursuits & city activities alike. There is so much to do! Free wifi, & loads of childrens facilities to save you packing them! Local attractions include the historic town of Haworth itself, a working steam railway, Bronte Parsonage museum, a large falconry & bird of prey centre, alpaca trekking and bushcrafting, local outdoor adventure centre and direct access to many countryside walks with some paths passing directly near the farm. Major attractions such as Saltaire World Heritage site, Bolton Abbey, Skipton Castle and Piece Hall are all within easy reach. The space The cottage is attached to the end of our farm. The farm is on the main road between Keighley and Hebden Bridge and is just on the edge of beautiful moorland. There are panoramic views all round. It's really quiet here despite a main road so you have perfect chance to relax. It is quite a large cottage for holidaying in so you will find plenty of space. There is lots of facilities and add on packages we can provide to really make your stay special - simply contact us before arrival to arrange. With climate change in mind, we are quite unique in that we are a carbon neutral site & have not only planted over 1000 trees on our land, but we have also installed an electric car charging point. We also run a biomass boiler here so there is unlimited heating / hot water that is carbon neutral. The commercial part of the farm is The Rainbow Egg Company - we are a free range farm and have the worlds smallest chickens right through to our lovely large geese & turkeys. All animals are friendly although it is possible to have absolutely no farm contact during your stay as the farm part is separate. You even get free eggs whilst you stay. We also offer locally sourced breakfast hampers if you would like. The space has been lived in recently but for 2020 is now up and running as a beloved holiday cottage again, and especially now COVID restrictions are lifted a little. In terms of COVID then additional cleaning procedures are in place and guests are expected to follow guidance during their stay. Guest access Guests have access to the farmyard for free parking, the driveway, the private cottage gardens, the terraced area with seating, and also the picnic benches. There is also access across the fields down to the footpaths too. As some of the site away from the cottage is a working farm then this is obviously out of bounds due to health and safety and biosecurity reasons. Other things to note We can advise on age appropriate activities locally including for rainy days if required. We can receive your online supermarket shopping for you in advance of your arrival to make life easier for you. We offer various activities and also support other small activity businesses locally.

Lovely setting, very picturesque, and accommodating owners.
We had a great time at Stones Cottage Farm, with a warm welcome from Emma. The cottage had everything we needed, and if you do find you are missing anything, Emma was able to sort it. Fantastic views from the cottage and a field full of entertaining sheep, ducks and geese. Very easy to get to Bronte Country, with plenty to do nearby. The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is within walking distance. Halifax, Huddersfield are very acessible by road too.

Love it!
Fabulous cottage, excellent hosts! We booked the cottage for the weekend while we were attending Haworth Steampunk weekend. It was perfect for what we needed. We could park at Oxenhope and get the steam train into Haworth, then after a busy day we had a lovely cozy cottage to come back to. It was the coldest weekend of the year but the cottage was really warm. Kitchen well stocked with equipment and free eggs! Definitely booking again for next year

Lovely Cottage with great views
We have stayed in this Cottage quite a few times now and we are never disappointed. It has everything you could need. We have stayed in the Summer and Winter months and it is extremely cosy and warm in the colder months. Lots to do in the area and the lovely Bolton Abbey around 40 minutes away which is always a big draw for us. Both Emma and Andrew are excellent hosts who will look after you really well, keeping out of your way if you don't want to be disturbed but always there if you need them. Can highly recommend a stay.

Appartement correct. Il nous a manqué des conseils pour découvrir la région, mais la barrière de la langue est peut être une raison.

Apologies we cannot always offer translation services. Our French speaking friends who would normally help were away on holiday.

We came down for a short break in Yorkshire as I was attending a photography workshop at a nearby falconry centre. We got a wonderful warm and friendly greeting from Andrew and Emma and the cottage is a delight with fabulous views over Oxenhope and down the valley to Haworth (a 45 minute walk away). We were provided with sugar, milk and coffee as well as half a dozen home produced eggs. On learning that I was a photographer interested in wildlife Andrew loaned me one of his nightscopes. The cottage itself is very comfortable with everything you need and towels are also provided. Would highly recommend this property for a short break or full holiday.

This cottage has everything you need for a relaxing, cosy break. The kitchen has every tool you need (including a washer and tumble dryer) and towels are also provided. The views are beautiful and it is so peaceful and quiet. Emma was very helpful when we arrived and recommended lots of places close by for us to visit and eat. We look forward to staying again.

Just returned from our week's stay in West Yorkshire at Stones cottage. The accommodation was exactly as advertised. Did not know what to expect since we were going in winter, however Andrew and Emma ensured that our stay was comfortable and helped us decide which places to visit. We visited lots of beautiful areas. Even when it was raining all day there was always something we could do as there are very interesting museums and castles, just a short drive away. All you have to do is take a short walk up the road and you are rewarded with breathtaking views. Good luck to the people we met who were hit by the floods. We were impressed by the feeling of altruism among the locals. We'll be back!
