What a beautiful,peaceful area. Our host Bronwyn was lovey and from the moment we entered the property it was perfect!! Wonderful views,quaint comfortable cottage and everything you need. The small touches were so nice, a yummy homemade cake and port were left out for us and Bronwyn even makes her guests some of her awesome homemade bread!! Now where else...

A short brisk walk along the farm drive will get you to the hauntingly popular Hanging Rock. You are also within a short driving distance of the towns and villages of Newham, Woodend, Lancefield and Kyneton that give this historic area it's character. Mt. Macedon and the spa town of Daylesford are also close and very easily accessed from Sunnyside Cottage.

Railway: Woodend Station: 14.0 km
Follow the Calder Freeway from Melbourne, take second Woodend off ramp (C324), turn right and follow route C324.
Please Note:
Miller’s Lane is best entered from Rochford Road (C324. Woodend-Lancefield Road).
We have found some GPS units want to bring you into Millers Lane off the Romsey Road and onto an unmaintained, rough road. We do not recommend this route.
Travel for approx 4kms, turn left into Coach Road (C324) (towards Newham, Lancefield).
Turn right into Rochford Road (C324) at the cross road in Newham (Newham General Store) towards Lancefield.
Travel for 4.1kms, Millers Lane is the second road on the right; it has 4 mailboxes on the corner.
Turn right into Millers Lane & travel 1.36kms & then turn right into the property.
