About the neighbourhood
Tighnabruaich is a village located on Argyll’s Secret Coast, in a very scenic area, and offers cafes, pubs, restaurants and an art gallery. The village looks out over the Kyles of Bute and the area offers lovely hills, glens, beaches and clear waters ideal for boating or diving. Portavadie on the east side of Loch Fyne is well known for two reasons, the first is that the car and passenger ferry links Cowal to Tarbert, which enables exploration of different parts of Argyll separated by a 25 minute ferry journey. Secondly a marina complex Portavadie welcomes yachters and boat enthusiasts to Loch Fyne, one of Scotland's most fanmous sea lochs known for it's amazing seafood. This area is foodie heaven, with bountiful fresh fish and seafood from the lochs and delicious venison, lamb and beef...
