Joan & Jim Baily invite you to relax and enjoy a welcome break in their two bedroom, fully self-contained Jilba Cottage and hope you will enjoy your stay with us. The unit is accessed by stairs to a wide deck, overlooking some stunning panoramic views.

Situated on the southern slopes of the ancient Porongurup Range, Jilba Enterprises is a 77 hectare working cattle, avocado and table olive property. We also have a small plantation of Eucalyptus saligna trees, which we are growing for furniture timber use.

This beautiful, well equiped cottage was the perfect 'get away'. The kitchen had everything we needed - even a gravy boat. The views were stunning and the peacefulness and tranquility invited relaxation. Coupled to that, the welcome provided by Jim and Joan Baily was generous and informative. Too short 2 night stay with 4 friends. We took our American friends on a whirlwind trip to the Great Southern and had the good fortune to stay at Jilba. The cottage was really well equipped and really clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast provisions and loved the large deck area overlooking the farm and out to Albany. Loved...

What a brilliant, patch of real West Australian rural property.. A total pleasure and privilege to have spent only a few day's there...If you, like us, love gardens, this is the place to stay. Jilba Cottage is within easy driving distance from Perth (approximately 400km), Mount Barker (35 km) and Albany (43 km).

From Perth: (approximately 4.5 hours)
Exit at Armadale on Albany Highway and continue south, via Williams & Kojonup to Mount Barker - approx. 330kms

From Mount Barker: Exit the Albany Highway onto the Mount Barker – Porongurup Road – travel 29.6 kms to Chester Pass Road
Turn right at Chester Pass Road – continue 1.3 kms to Millinup Road
Turn right into Millinup Road and continue 3.38 kms to “Jilba” gate way.

From Albany: Exit Albany’s main roundabout at South Coast Highway/Chester Pass Road – travel 36.1km to Millinup Road. Turn left into Millinup Road and continue 3.38 kms to ”Jilba” gate way.
