There is a lifetime of exploring and things to do, all within an hour of here: hiking, picnics, swimming, kayaking, rafting, relaxing in the garden, dog walks, climbing, thermal spa, via ferrata, visiting Italy, fine food, markets, walking with llamas, horse riding, skiing, snowboarding, X-country skiing, paragliding, hot air ballooning, road cycling, mountain biking, enjoying summer medieval festivals, picnics, donkey rides, farm visits, tennis, Go Ape!, fishing, visiting the medieval old town, husky sled rides, and much, much more! Getting around
A car really isn't necessary if you're here to ski as there are free ski buses taking you the 2km to the slopes, all day, every day. Out of ski season there are a few buses that take you further afield, and there are regular buses into town all day, but a car or bikes will mean you can really explore the area and see all it has to offer.
