Very clean and well-kept - this was long rental and we had no issues at all - definitely recommend. We needed flexibility with work hours and this was ideal - good location for town centre and eating out with superstore just round the corner

About the neighbourhood
Historic Whitby has a maize of cobbled alleyways and narrow streets that lead down to the quayside. The ruins of St Hilda's Abbey on Whitby's east cliff dominate the skyline and from the old town centre it is possible to climb the 199 steps up to the Parish church of St Mary where Bram Stoker was inspired to write 'Dracula'. Further along the coast is Scarborough with its elegant Esplanade and magnificent Spa. Next is the Edwardian coastal town of Filey followed by Bridlington which has beautiful beaches. Nature lovers must visit the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs, a super day out for all the family with more than 200,000 sea birds from April to August that make the cliffs come alive.
