1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 2
Beaumont-du-Perigord, Beaumontois-en-Perigord, Dordogne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Le Mazet is a charming, 4-star house typical to the Dordogne with honey-coloured stone walls, jasmine climbing up the walls, and breath-taking views from your private garden and from the sitting room to the 12th century church across the valley.
In the summer enjoy the garden with sun loungers, deck-chairs, BBQ and dining chairs and table with shade afforded by a huge oak tree or a parasol. In the cooler months, you can enjoy all the comforts Le Mazet affords you in front of a roaring fire in its sitting room. Le Mazet was renovated in 2016.
Approached from the garden, Le Mazet has steps to the front door, which opens into the living room and open kitchen (36m²) on the upper ground floor. There is much to explore in the area. Markets selling local produce and antiques. Castles, churches and prehistoric caves, famous wineries, and restaurants serving the region’s specialities (such as truffles, duck and foie gras).
