Mallorn is a well equipped bungalow with central heating and enjoys an elevated position overlooking Arthog. There is a double bedroom with a double bed (firm) and twin beds (medium firm) in the other bedroom. There is a patio accessed through bi-fold doors from the dining area. Mallorn also has an attractive, mature garden secluded by shrubs and trees. From the property there is mainly an outlook across the Mawddach estuary to mountains. Visit Wales Star Grading: 3 Stars There is a parking area suitable for two small / medium sized vehicles. If more parking is required please contact the owner. The normal arrival time is 3pm and departure time 10pm, if you wish to arrive or depart at a different time please let the Bev (the key holder) know, If the key to the cottage is not under the mat by the front door of Mallorn, it can be found in the key safe, opposite the front door.

About the neighbourhood
The area is ideal for walking, sight-seeing and bird-watching. The property backs on to the slopes of Cader Idris and has good access to the whole of this superb walking area. Nearby are Arthog Falls and Cregennan Lakes both renowned for their beauty. Fairbourne, with its acclaimed sandy beach is just 3 miles away, with Dolgallau about 5 miles away.
How to get there
From Welshpool take the A458 and at Mallwyd take the A470 towards Dolgellau. At Dolgellau take the bypass road past the town. At the end of the bypass, take the A493 on the left towards Fairbourne and Towyn on the South side of the Mawddach Estuary. After about 5 miles you will go down a steep hill into Arthog. Proceed over the narrow bridge with a chapel to the right and Arthog Hall Drive is some 100 yards on the left. Proceed up the private road and you will see Lothlorien (adjacent to Mallorn), on your left. Mallorn is just a little way up the private road a little further up the hill on the left, just opposite Arthog Hall Farm. There is space for two medium sized vehicles in the parking area by the side of the property.
