Auchenblae is a traditionally built stone cottage which has been designed to blend seamlessly with its smaller neighbour, The Haven. The cottage sleeps six in two double bedrooms upstairs and one twin bedroom downstairs. (a cot is available for infants). There are two bathrooms - one en-suite bathroom upstairs, and one downstairs shower room. The sitting room has an open fire and two sets of patio doors leading into the garden, while the well equipped modern kitchen with dining area seats six. Auchenblae has beautiful gardens overlooking the River Tay and there are a number of areas where visitors can sit, relax and soak up the glorious scenery and sunsets that Kirkton of Balmerino has to offer. Auchenblae's location is secluded and tranquil, and yet it is only a fifteen minute drive to the hustle and bustle of city life in Dundee and twenty minutes from historic St Andrews, with its famous sandy beaches and golf courses. The Haven is in such a beautiful location on the edge of the Tay in Kirkton of Balmerino. Wonderful views from every window and no one overlooking you. Beautiful walks down to the riverside and down to The Abbey in Balmerino. Perfect location for travelling...More

Auchenblae is ideal for walkers and cyclists, with woodland paths, riverside walks, and beautiful scenery at every turn, whilst golfers have 8 local clubs within 20 minutes drive. All welcome visitors and have varying green fees. Auchenblae's location is secluded and tranquil, and yet it is only a fifteen minute drive to the hustle and bustle of city life in Dundee, with its V&A Museum. The capital city of Edinburgh is about an hour’s drive, but much closer to home is the famous historical town of St Andrews which you can reach in about 20 minutes.
