My house manager is Simon and he and his team are on hand and on call for you during your stay. His contact details can be found on the kitchen notice board and in the guest information pack. The house is fully equipped with internet access and also a smart TV and DAB stereo. There is a small number of books, cds and dvds for guests' use and also some board games.

We had a really lovely Christmas stay in this beautiful spacious house. Great location and set in lovely grounds. We even had Carol singing at the Manor House. The house was well equipped and a delicious hamper welcomed us on arrival. Would definitely recommend.

About the neighbourhood
3 Home Farm North is situated in what was once the stable block with a triple height ceiling and an archway that would have allowed carriages in to be stored. The area is very peaceful and at night very dark (no street lighting so torches are a must!) Across the way is the old forge and farmhouse. There are many walks around the estate which can be used by visitors - see maps on the estate roads. Just outside the estate gates, The Dower House Hotel offers a small bar, the Peek Village Hall also runs a bar and the Rousdon bakery is a great little coffee shop and breakfast stop. Within the house is a basket of leaflets from attractions and things to do in the area.
Getting around
A car is necessary for getting around as the estate is 3 miles from the nearest town. There are a number of reputable taxi firms that operate in the area for nights out, details can be found in the house.

Ferry: Poole: 90.0 km
The Rousdon Estate is on the main coast road, the A3052, about 3 miles from Lyme Regis. The nearest airport is Exeter and the closest train station is at Axminster with connections to Penzance and London. There is a limited bus service which stops outside the estate gates and runs between Sidmouth and Lyme Regis. Parking is available outside of the house (one at the front and one at the back) and there is also a small overflow car park 50 yards away.
