A real plus for the house is that you can walk to everything (Golf/Beach/Shops/Pubs/Hotels etc...) in less than 5 mins literally.

No matter what type of holiday you wish to experience we are sure that this beautiful region will cater for your needs. We were greeted by Kathleen and entered a clean, tidy and comfortable property. The property had all the amenities we needed. Not that we needed it but we had Kathleen's contact details; we did not need to use which speaks for itself.

Stayed in The House this weekend. Well located only a few minutes walk from the town. Beach is literally a 5 min walk and well worth a visit. All necessary equipment in house for a comfortable stay. Nice and spacious, bright and lots of space...More

There is also a landing area upstairs where children (and adults) can watch Freeview T.V. Freeview with built in DVD also available downstairs.

About the neighbourhood
Dunfanaghy is a small village. Formerly a fishing port it has reinvented itself to become a major tourist destination in Donegal. The village is also home to a golf club, several art galleries and craft shops, and a museum, situated in part of a former workhouse, which describes the effects of the Irish Potato Famine on Dunfanaghy.

Across the bay from Dunfanaghy is Horn Head, which shelters Dunfanaghy from the Atlantic Ocean and is an Irish Natural Heritage Area. Dunfanaghy is close to Port-na-Blagh and Marble Hill, both of which also have popular beaches. Other sights in the vicinity include: Ards Forest Park, Ards (Capuchin) Friary, Glenveagh National Park, Doe Castle and the Derryveagh Mountains, the most prominent being Muckish Mountain and Mount Errigal.
