Overview
Cottage -
3 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 5
Valentia Island, County Kerry
With one of the best views in Ireland our comfortable cottage is ideal for families, close to sheltered and unspoilt Glanleam beach. Valentia is connected to the mainland of County Kerry by a bridge and a ferry service.

STAR WARS fans can take a boat trip to the Skellig Islands -one of the dramatic locations visited by LUKE SKYWALKER in Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015).

The cottage which is over 200 years old is privately owned and is one of a pair that were originally part of the Knight of Kerry's Glanleam Estate. The cottage has been owned by the same family for several generations and has been sympathetically modernised.

Valentia Island is linked to the mainland by the bridge at Portmagee and by a small roll-on roll-off ferry that runs continuously during high season and links Knightstown on Valentia to Cahirciveen.
