Shraigh Hill is situated five miles (7 minutes drive) from the town of Belmullet and one mile from the village of Glencastle. The property is built to a superbly high standard, individually designed and set on an unrivalled site with a 270 degree sea view, overlooking Claggen Island, the Atlantic and Achill Island.

This is one of the most traditional and friendly rural areas in the whole Ireland. Belmullet town has a host of shops, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and bike hire etc. whilst Geesala and Bangor Erris are within 10 min drive and offer supermarket, petrol stations and pubs.

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. Preferred changeover day is Saturday, particularly in peak season, but we will always try to be as flexible as possible.
Payment by electronic transfer preferable. (Euro cheque, Paypal, sterling may be possible (subject to prior agreement).
We take a 3 night minimum booking for weekends as standard, though will always try to be flexible if we can. Please note though bookings of less than a week are possible in peak summer months, bookings of one week or more are given preference.
Peak Rates apply for Christmas, New Year and Easter and shorter breaks over Bank Holiday weekends.
Damage Deposit for all bookings is €300 payable in advance. Deposit will be returned within 7 days of departure assuming the property is left in good order. (Please note, we've never had cause to keep anyone's deposit yet!)

Railway: Ballina: 50.0 km
Ferry: Dublin: 250.0 km
Fly to Knock from Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, East Midlands, Glasgow, Gatwick, Leeds, Liverpool, Luton, Stansted and Manchester. Knock Airport is just 95kms from the property. Ryanair do great deals and also discount on car hire, as do other airlines.

Shannon Airport is the next nearest airport and would take approximately three and a half hours drive, Ryanair also fly into Shannon from Stansted.
Nearest Ports by Ferry is Dun Laoghaire and Dublin - 270kms away, roughly 4 hours drive. If you are getting the train, Ballina Train station, Co Mayo is 57kms away.
