The accommodation is very well maintained, spacious and has everything you need to self cater to a high standard and to relax in comfort . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stoneyacre - the accommodation was perfect for our young family as it was all on one level and everything that we needed was provided. About the neighbourhood
The Newlands Valley links the village of Braithwaite with Buttermere. There are very fine walks straight onto the fells from the property so no need to take the car all the time .. big walks, high walks, low walks , valley river walks, walks to tea shops, walks to lakes.

Whinlatter is nearby and as well as a Go-Ape has an extensive cycling path network catering for all levels.
within a couple of miles are a marina (offering canoe, boat hire) and Newlands Adventure Centre for Ghyll Scrambling, Climbing etc.

The views from StoneyAcre are spectacular and take in Skiddaw, Blencathra, Helvellyn, Catbells, and Causey Pike.

Railway: Penrith: 32.0 km
From J40 of the M6 , head west towards Keswick on the A66 for 20 miles. A mile past Keswick turn left into Braithwaite and head towards Buttermere. StoneyAcre is about a mile out of Braithwaite.
