If you are looking for somewhere away from the tourist resorts but still near to the restaurants and nightlife of Malta this is the place for you. The apartment is part of a residential block, IT IS NOT PART OF A HOLIDAY COMPLEX. It is in a picturesque valley setting just 4km from the bustling nightlife and restaurants of St.Julians and Paceville. It is recommended that you hire a car, as it is around at least a 15 minute walk down the valley to the nearest bus stop and there are no restaurants or shops within a reasonable walking distance. There is a one car garage parking space provided within the gated residence. Shorter rental periods can be arranged by contacting the owner. Long lets will also be considered. NB: Prices are subject to change at the advertiser's discretion. While water, gas and electricity are included in the price, air conditioning will attract an additional charge of £50 per week. For stays longer than a week a maid service can be requested locally at a charge of €50. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking. Balance is due 30 days before arrival. Before arrival a £400 (€500) security deposit is payable to cover any damages. The security deposit is refundable on check-out or within 7 days of check-out, less any deductions. Check-in is at 15:00. Check-out 10:00. Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged subject to availability.

Madliena, situated in and around a picturesque valley, is endowed with magnificent views of the northern bays of the island. It is situated at a high elevation and close to the tourist village of St Paul's Bay and its beaches while at the same time it is only minutes away from the heart of entertainment and shopping in St. Julians.

Madliena is considered to be a gem of natural beauty. It owes its origin to the Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene which was built in the 15th century. Historical sites located in Madliena include the Victoria Lines, Madliena Fort and The Batteria San Giovanni. Also, lying to the north-eastern side of the Victoria Lines is Fort Madliena which was built by the British in the 1880's.
