A truly lovely apartment 7/8 minutes walk from the harbour with secured private parking. The place is just as described, spacious, well equipped, great wifi and a lovely balcony from which you can just see les Calanques. We had breakfast every morning on the outside patio and several dinners, watching the beautiful sunsets, dining with food from Fourchette et potager, a fantastic deli and reasonably priced wines from the local Spar only a few minutes walk away. The apartment is very close to Clos de Madeleine and Domaine de Bagnol vineyards, you can walk there.
A huge thank you to Mary and her friend Andre for the warm welcome, restaurant advice and take away pizza recommendation as we arrived very late on our first night. My only thought was that perhaps kitchen staples such as salt, pepper, oil, vinegar may have been provided for guests who are only staying a few days and a few extra bin bags would be good. Coffee filters were provided for the proper machine, great !
We had a wonderful time in Cassis, the apartment was fantastic and was cool in the evenings without air-con, despite the warm temperatures during the day.
A big thank you Mary for your wonderful hospitality. I would highly recommend your place to anyone planning a trip to Cassis. And....my full deposit was returned on time!
