Overview
Shepherds hut -
1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 2
Wolverley, Worcestershire, England
Want to get away from it all? Well this is the place for you. The camping pod is situated in 2 acres of private broadleaf woodland. It comfortably sleeps two, there is room for an extra tent close to the pod should this be needed at a small extra cost. The pod has LED lighting powered by a solar panel, a woodburner, a sink, a gas ring. Private waterless/compost toilet adjacent to pod. Shower and conventional toilet down at the house 100 yards away.

The pod is especially suited to retreats and meditation and for those seeking simple off grid living and contemplation, although it is also a great base from which to explore the area and is just that little bit more comfortable than being under canvas. It is also a great place to bring the kids for a camping experience with a nice comfy bed for the adults!

You can really get a sense of peac...

A peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Rustic and basic. The sounds of the Woodpeckers in the mornings and Owls at night really help with relaxing. The wood burner is really relaxing. Just wish we could stayed for ever and not go back to reality.

Had a wonderful couple of days here. Just myself and my dog. Gave me a much needed escape from lefe to re charge my batteries. Lovely place to retreat to. Comfy bed and good basic facilities. Highly recommended

How to get there
Railway: Kidderminster: 7.0 km
Follow signs to Bodenham Arboretum. Pass Arboretum entrance on your left, take the third left after that (look out for a beech hedge on your left and take the drive on the left straight after the beech hedge) , after a few yards (go between two small barn conversions) fork right. You should now be at Hobro Lodge. The cabin is up through the five bar gate that you can see just passed the garage. It is usually possible to drive carefully straight up to the cabin.
