Experience life in an Italian casa colonica in this stylish apartment within a family home. On the border of Tuscany and Umbria halfway between Rome and Florence, this is a perfect base for wine tours, thermal spas, local food sagras and festas, Umbrian jazz, blues & gospel music festivals and Europe's largest chocolate fair, as well as natural tours and excursions in and around Lago Trasimeno, Italy's 4th largest lake. Famous hilltop towns such as Cortona, Montepulciano, Perugia, Assisi, Arezzo and Siena are nearby, providing culture treasures and beautiful scenic views. We are close to golf courses as well.

About the neighbourhood
Beautifully positioned between two local villages, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, the property is halfway between Castiglione del Lago on the banks of Lago Trasimeno, Umbria and the hilltop town of Chiusi, Tuscany's famous Etruscan gem.
Getting around
A car is absolutely essential as public transportation between Tuscan and Umbrian hilltop towns is scanty. Wandering drives through magical landscapes could lead you to an impromptu picnic, a Vineyard that beckons, or an off-road adventure to a tiny borgo not even on the map .
