Kilmore, County Wexford
Kilmore Cottage is located just two minutes’ walk from the village of Kilmore, set on our organic farm with rolling fields surrounding. Quiet and peaceful, yet only twenty minutes from the Wexford town, and bowling, golf and many other activities and attractions. Helpful owners live adjacent, and we can recommend excellent restaurants and beach all within a five minute drive or provide a guided farm tour.

The open plan living/kitchen/ dining area opens out onto a furnished patio, and the enclosed garden is ideal for realxing or for children to play in. With one double and two twin bedrooms, the cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

Just what we needed. Quiet location. Perfect for children. We stayed in one of the smaller cottages. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. We even had the chance to collect eggs straight from the hen house outside the cottages. The only downside was the mattresses could have been more comfortable but it still doesn't change my rating. It's close...

Management response:

Thanks a mill for leaving the review, it's so nice to hear you had a good time. We'll send you an email shortly - time to get new mattresses :) - thanks for the heads up. We'd be delighted to welcome you back. John & Helen

We came to Kilmore Cottages for a last minute break and Helen could not have been more helpful in assisting us. The spacious rooms and walk-in wet room were ideal for my mother, who is a permanent wheelchair user. On top of decent accommodation we were also treated to a tour of the farm by John and were quickly advised...

Management response:

Delighted that you all got to see the new-born calf - who made his first wobbly walk over to see you :) Be delighted to welcome you back, thanks a mill, ~ John & Helen

We (both family and friends) stayed in Kilmore Cottages for a weekend while celebrating a recent birthday. The properties were spotlessly clean and on arrival it was lovely to see a complementary homemade cake and tea laid out. The Cottages were all on one site with plenty of parking, the beach and local amenities were all nearby. Even though this...

Management response:

Delighted to hear you all had such a good time and that it worked out so well for the group. Thanks! ~ Helen
