Ballintra is a quiet village, with a population of approximately 500, within easy access of Donegal Town and Ballyshannon in the Republic of Ireland and just one hour from the picturesque town of Enniskillen in Northern Ireland. Belleek is just 15 minutes drive away where the world famous Potteries are located.
A Blue Flag beach is just 4 miles away at Rossnowlagh with superb surf for windsurfing and all manner of watersports and the quieter Murvagh beach is just 2 miles away together with a top class 18 hole golf course.
Ballintra is ideally located for accessing the burial site of WB Yeats at Drumcliffe just 40 minutes drive to the south in Co Sligo.
The area is well-served by excellent restaurants and tourist facilites.
