'Cosy Neuk' is an old fisherman's cottage in the old village area where terraces cottages tumble down the streets to the sea and coastal path. The harbour is just around the corner where there are stunning views across the coast. Dolphins are regularly spotted off the coast and is home to the largest pod of bottlenose dolphins in the UK.

It is best to have a car to explore the region. Portknockie is, however, on the bus route 35 which links Aberdeen City and the Airport with Inverness.
