Interaction with guests
I have found that guests prefer to call me or ask the caretaker to call me when they need to see me, as they like to go to the beach whenever the weather permits. When they get home there normally is a rush to feed the family or get cleaned up and calling is an intrusion on their time.

Mike's place was a very comfortable, spacious home-from-home to our large family of 7 adults for a whole week. We loved the ceiling fans, comfy beds & pretty linen (main en-suite even boasts an aircon)The oceanview from lounge and most bedrooms was magnificent and restful. We enjoyed the large, open-plan, well appointed kitchen, tvroom and pool area, cooking together and then enjoying meals at the large diningroom table. Loved walking 5min to the beach and then cooling off in the sparking pool. What a memorable holiday :) hope to be back

Management response:

Mike’s Place is ideally situated with a spectacular view of the ocean. The owners were extremely helpful and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Very efficient and friendly housekeeper. House was clean and well equipped and we enjoyed small touches such as fresh flowers on arrival and special Christmas tablecloth. Definitely worth a visit.

Management response:

About the neighbourhood
The area is known for its pristine coast and indigenous dune forest. The beach and the Zinkwazi river which opens into the sea is safe for swimming boating. The beauty of this particular beach is that one can settle down at the main beach on the stretch of clean sand between the river and the main swimming beach and be within 15 paces of family either enjoying boating or other members of the family swimming in the sea or exploring the rock pools along side the swimming beach.
