We spent a lovely weekend in the lodge, everything has been thought of that you will need & provided for. The owners went out of their way to help us. A very pretty & peaceful location, will definitely return.

Excellent communication from the owners, lovely welcome. Lodge is well provisioned with everything you need. Excellent fishing and perfect place for chilling out. Great to have our dog with us. Locals very friendly, happy to recommend.

Great location for wildlife spots, particularly birding. We saw a Barn Owl regularly hunting in the fields near the Butchers and flying over the Marina. We also spotted a pair of Kingfishers there too! Lakenheath Fen is a short car journey as well as Lackford...More

We encourage you to Buy British & Buy Local Fresh, Local and Affordable Meat & Eggs Thompson's Farm Butchers - a few minutes walk from the Lodge Fenrose Farm, 1 Fen Bank, Isleham, CB7 5SL - Tel: 01638 780 431 Thompson's Farm Shop (at Fenrose Farm) is a very short walk from your Lodge (couple minutes). Thompson's Farm run a 5-Star hygiene rated butchers shop on the farm. Selling only their own meat and eggs. Some people worry about buying at farm shops because of the price. Don't worry! This isn't one of those farm shops! What you get at Thompson's is good homest farm produce, from the farm, sold by the farm, direct to you....
How to get there
From A14 take A142 signed Ely. Take the turn to Fordham. At Fordham take the first sign for Isleham on the right. You will come to a crossroads (next to a church) where there is no further sign for Isleham. Go straight over here and continue to village. On entering the village continue past the Co-op, garage and Church. Turn left into Sun street immediately after the church and left signed Marina. Take the right turn to 'Riverside Island marina'. Riverside Island Marina is a private gated marina. You will be provided with access FOBs when you are met in the lodge. Upon arival to the Marina the gate may well be closed.
