Downstairs is a large farmhouse kitchen/dining room which is well equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, radio with CD player and wood burning stove. There is a separate lounge with log burner digital TV and DVD player.

There is WIFI available.

Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms one offering two single beds and the other a super kingsized bed and a bathroom with bath, shower, toilet hand basin and bidet.

For large gatherings of 12 all three properties at Low Farm can be booked. The Farm House, Croft and Cottage.

Set in the heart of national forest. Amazing views. So much space and character to the property. The children thought the location was amazing. Everything and more than you could ask for in a holiday rental. Tried to book again for this year 2018, but...More

About the neighbourhood
Rosedale is home to Rosedale Abbey, a Cistercian Priory founded in 1158 and now just a staircase, sundial and single stone pillar. The Priory was founded by a small group of nuns who are credited with the first commercial sheep farm in the area. Gillies Glass blowing studio demonstrates the art and its small shop is worth a visit.

Enjoy the wonderful views off Rosedale Chimney Bank, a very steep section of road between Rosedale and Hutton le Hole, and visit the Calcinning Kilns.

Hutton le hole where you can visit Ryedale Folk Museum, Yorkshire’s leading open air museum with 13 historic buildings to visit and local art and crafts on view in the reception gallery.

Low Farm is located in Rosedale about 10 miles to the North of Pickering and about 40 miles from York.
By road:From the A170 Helmsley to Scarborough Road, take the left hand turning through Wrelton signposted 'Cropton, Hartoft and Rosedale'. Take the next left signposted 'Hartoft' - mind the sharp narrow left hand bend at the top of Wrelton. Keep following the road through Cropton and continue, following the road down the hill and over the bridge until you reach the Black Smith Country Inn (currently closed). Take the first right turn past the Black Smiths. Continue past the 'no through road' sign. Low Farm is the first building on the right approximately half a mile from the Inn.
