Two bedroom cottage situated in Bowness on Windermere, on a quiet residential road just a few minutes walk from local shops, restaurants, pubs and attractions of the area. Offering guests all the comforts of home. Situated in the centre of the English lake district Bowness on Windermere is a perfect base from which to explore the area, the property offers 2 good size bedrooms, both en-suite situated on the lower ground floor (down one flight of stairs), sky channels available and free WIFI. There is a private parking space opposite the cottage for guests use. The rate we charge does not include complimentary items such as tea, coffee, milk but there is a supermarket close by where they can be purchased.

We live a little way from the property therefore we will not be there on check in and check out, but we are always available via email or text for enquires or problems - we do not supply complimentary tea, coffee, milk but there are supermarkets close by.

Very close to all amenities in Bowness and walkable to Windermere. Unusual layout means bedrooms are on lower ground floor-extremely quiet and promote a great nights sleep. Try urban food on lake round for a delicious good value evening meal. very good value all round

Biskey Howe Road is a quiet residential road, the area is safe and clean. Bowness-on-Windermere is a tourist town and all transport links are geared to people getting about, there is plenty for everyone to do - walking (from the novice to experienced walker), quality restaurants & bars, independent traders offering perfect places to shop. History abound including Beatrix Potter & William wordsworth to name just two. A popular destination, the town is busy for much of the year. People come to enjoy the lake for sailing and water sports, or just to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the area and the delightful setting.

public transport is excellent in the area, bus stop at the end of the road, mountain goat & lakes super tours offer excursions, train station & bus station with a 20 minute walk
