Town: The ever popular resort of Weymouth makes an outstanding year-round holiday destination, with a wide variety of attractions on offer, appealing to all tastes and ages. The glorious golden sandy beach with its shallow waters provide excellent facilities for all kinds of watersports, whilst from the picturesque, bustling harbour you can take regular fishing trips. A short drive takes you to Portland Harbour, and the rugged “Isle” of Portland, linked to Weymouth by the dramatic Chesil Beach. Visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy’s “Casterbridge”, only 7 miles away, or take a journey along the scenic coastal road and call in at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. Alternatively, just head down to West Bay - the views of the stunning Dorset Heritage Coastline are not to be missed!
Dirty property in undesirable area. Overpriced slum.
Currently staying at property. Be warned do not book this place absolutely filthy and smells mouldy. The bathroom has mould & badly stained. The windows in whole property barely open and need cleaning. Lounge light switch broken lights flashing on/off. The property situated in extremely rough area.I took dog out 8pm last night group of men hanging about very weird smell. Possibly drugs. Lot coming & going from large property opposite looks like flats all night.

Great location close to beach
Very comfortable, clean & tidy and everything you need for a great holiday. Tucked away from the busy areas & local friendly pubs within a few hundred metres. Definitely recommend.

Great for whole family
Great house and location. It feels like a home from home and so pleased they allow dogs. The house is fully equipped for our toddler, there was even a stair gate and travel cot. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you

Nice place to stay
The house was very clean, had to very thing we needed including stair gate and cott.
And short walk from the beach.

Great family holiday
We rented Mariners Rest and the holiday home next door ( Portside ) for our extended family - this gave us fantastic space and flexibility.
Mariners rest was clean. well equipped and our bed was so comfy ! Pubs, restaurants and the sea a short level walk away.

Perfect location in Weymouth
A lovely, clean, comfortable home from home, ideal for a small family or two/three adults. We loved that we could walk to the beach within minutes and the town in about 15 mins, leaving the car in the private space outside the house ( a bonus in Weymouth )
Has a great little & secure garden. We enjoyed nearby Greenhill Gardens.

Really unclean
This property looks so nice in the photos but don’t be fooled
Garden is a mess cleanliness leaves this to the imagination
Furniture outdated
Double bed has a pole underneath to hold it up
Bathroom needs updating
Carpets are supposed to be frezm but if you walk barefoot your feet end up black
Owners are not very nice infact have no decoram when dealing with criticism
Definitely won’t book here again
