About the neighbourhood
Our caravan is on the Littlesea Park, which is one of the top Haven sites in the country. Passes can be bought to use all the site facilities which include an excellent swimming pool complex, entertainment for the children and adults, a bar and restaurant, Starbucks cafe, a mini-market food store and much more. You can walk along the Coastal Footpath in both directions from the caravan or hop on the 502 bus which will take you from the Park down to the centre of town and the beach in just 10 minutes. There are plenty of places to visit nearby whatever your interests - fossil hunting along the Jurassic coast, the local Sea-Life Centre, Abbotsbury with its Swannery, Childrens' Farm and Tropical Gardens and the Tank Museum at Bovington.
To explore the local area - the Jurassic Coast and the myriad of attractions close to Weymouth, it is best to travel here by car. However, there is a bus, the 502 which leaves hourly from the site for the beach and town centre and for the holiday season, there are also buses which will take you along the coast in both directions. These all come into the site, so are very convenient.
