Blinkbonnie Apartment is a newly refurbished 1st floor, two bedroomed apartment set in a quiet location in the middle of the small town of Callander. It has private parking and is just 100 metres from the Rob Roy and Loch Lomond National Park information centre. The town of Callander has many privately owned shops and eating houses for your evening entertainment, yet walk or drive less than one mile out of town and you can be in the heart of the Scottish countryside. The apartment is in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park which is an area designated as “Outstanding Natural Beauty”. The River Teith is just a few hundred yards from the apartment where you can walk, fish or just sit and take in the scenery. The River Teith is just a few hundred yards from the apartment where you can walk, fish or just sit and take in the scenery. At the rear of Blinkbonnie you have Bracklinn Falls and the River Keltie. Both of which are reached via a walk through The Callander Craggs. The Craggs is a mixed woodland forest park with many tracks and trails to follow. If you are feeling energetic you can climb to the summit which is nearly 1000 feet above the town and commands fantastic views in all directions. One of the most scenic lochs in Scotland is Loch Katrine. Just 20 minutes drive away, where you can take a boat ride, hire cycles or just take a leisurely stroll around the foreshore and look out for the wildlife in the woods or on the water. There is so much to do around the area of Callander you do not need to travel far. If you wish to see more of Scotland, you could not be based in a more central location. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee and Glen Coe within one hours drive and Oban, Fort William and the infamous Loch Ness less than two hours away.
