The house is situated in an enviable position close to Readymoney Cove on the edge of this historic port. Fowey features vivacious narrow streets encompassing small independent retailers and superb dining experiences, leading down to the beautiful waterfront which is a mecca for sailing enthusiasts due to the deep water harbour and being an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Readymoney Cove is nestled in National Trust woodland, in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, occupying an idyllic setting at Readymoney Cove situated on the edge of Fowey and commanding amazing views of the beach, estuary and sea.

About the neighbourhood
In the centre of Fowey there is also a sweet little aquarium, and a local museum – both are worth a peek! Fowey has a 14th church and a 15th century castle fort.
There are a variety of activities on the water, ranging from organised boat trips to canoe hire.
The closest permanent beach is Ready Money Cove, which has clean sands and is perfect for swimming. There is also a tidal sea-pool hidden away at the Whitehouse Pier! Within a five-ten minute drive, you can be at Polkerris beach and Par Sands, and within a half hour drive there is Carlyon Bay, Charlestown, Porthpean, Pentewan and Mevagissey. There are many thousands of miles of fantastic walks in Cornwall. The South West Coastal Path alone winds 630 miles around the county!

How to get there
There are three long stay car parks in Fowey, all run by Cornwall Council - you can get weekly and rover passes on their website or purchase tickets on arrival.
The nearest train is Par Station, which has direct services from London Paddington and beyond. It's then a 10 minute taxi trip into Fowey.
The main bus stop in Fowey can be found outside the Safe Harbour pub, and the 24 & 25 First Kernow services stop here.
Fowey also has its own town bus service which picks up from outside the church and runs to the car parks and some other destinations on request.
The closest airport is Newquay, which is around 30 minute away by car.
